True Stories of 1920s Chicago

The Windy City had it all during the Roaring ’20s — and we are bringing a little taste of those times to GreenFields Geneva. Join us for a special presentation on Wednesday, July 17th from historian Martina Mathisen as she dons her nicest flapper dress and walks us through the decade of the century.

You will first sit down and enjoy signature Chicago dishes provided by our culinary team before Martina will detail how fashion, crime and creativity mixed to create one of the most iconic times in our city’s rich history — and how that history has come to inspire modern stories such as the Oscar- and Tony-winning musical Chicago. After you finish exploring the past, you will have the opportunity to tour our community and start writing your next story at GreenFields Geneva.
